    • Join us for a Pancake Supper February 21
      The Fr. George Bradford Council of the Knights of Columbus will host a pancake supper on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 4:30 to 7PM in the Church Hall. 

      Tickets are $7.50 for adults and children (ages 4-12) are $4.  Kids under 4 are FREE.

      Please join our parish for food and fellowship.

      VATICAN CITY, (Catholic Online) - On Monday October 17, 2011 Pope Benedict XVI again demonstrated his passionate dedication to the New Evangelization and the missionary vocation of the whole Church. As he has through word and deed since assuming office, he proclaimed that we are living in a new missionary age. He affirmed his pastoral plan for the whole Church to proclaim the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ.  At the end of an international meeting on the new Evangelization he proclaimed a "Year of Faith."

      In Memoriam - Francine Murphy of Kennedyville, MD, and formerly of Harrington Park, NJ, died on Monday, January 16 of complications from non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Francine, who was for several years involved in Sacred Heart Parish Outreach, is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jim, who serves as a Cantor at Sacred Heart Church; by a daughter, Ellen Brown & her husband, David of Woodcliff Lake, NJ; by sons, James & his wife, Mary of Northboro, MA, and by Daniel & his wife, Kathryn of Nanuet, NY.  She was blessed with four grandchildren, Peter & Elizabeth Brown, and Olivia & James Murphy; she is also survived by sisters, Claire McKinney & her husband, Jack of Naples, FL, Susan Schlotzhauer of Elkton, MD; by a brother, William Cranny & his wife, Anne of Drexel Hill, PA and brother-in-law, John Heller of Aston, PA. Francine was predeceased by her sister, Ann Heller. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, January 20, 2012.
