It takes work.

There are times when we need to feed our faith in the same way. This too requires work, but when we work at growing spiritually, we nourish our souls. As food strengthens our bodies, prayer strengthens our character.

Take some time to learn about the life of a saint, read and reflect on scripture, or simply mediate and listen to the still, small voice that God uses in our heart.
